The story of the Ribbon Letters

I've always wanted to create my own version of letter pendants. They’re so meaningful—you can wear the initials of someone you love or spell out a special word that holds significance just for you.

For a long time, though, this idea sat on the back burner. Other projects took priority, and the idea gathered dust in the corners of my mind. But the thought never left me, and I knew I had to revisit it.

When I finally returned to the idea, I wanted to add my unique "This Story" touch to each piece. I brainstormed different possibilities but nothing felt quite right—until it hit me: BOWS! Of course!

I’ve made quite a few pieces with bow motifs recently, so it made perfect sense to incorporate them into my letter pendants. With renewed inspiration, I dove into my box of wax and spent hours carving, bending, and melting until I perfected the very first 'A' with its delicate bow finish. I felt so much joy when I completed that first letter. It was everything I’d hoped it would be, but I knew I had 25 more letters to go, and I didn’t want to lose steam.

Each letter presented its own challenges, but I was determined to make every curve and bow perfect and unique. If one letter wasn’t just right, it felt like I’d let down the whole team—no pressure, right?

There’s something magical about wearing a letter pendant, knowing it holds a secret meaning or story just for you. Whether it’s the initial of a loved one, a reminder of a special place, or a word that inspires you every day, these pendants are more than just jewellery—they’re personal treasures.
