Signet rings hold a lot of history and meaning. Traditionally they were used to mark important documents. It is said that signet rings have been around since 3500 BC, initially used as a seal opposed to a ring. They continued to evolve and became a symbol of wealth, normally worn on the pinky fingers of men with high status.
The Simple Signet Ring is made using an ancient method of jewellery making called Lost Wax Casting. This piece is lovingly hand-carved from wax and cast into eco-silver, before being hand finished in a sustainable workshop.
